Weight Loss Challenge Issues

So..I have been doing the weight loss challenge for a week and i have managed to lose a pound. Yay! but.. I have noticed that my breast milk supply has dramatically reduced..which is not good considering my little one will only drink breast milk..hates all food except water and those rice puffs. So...any advice? How do I continue to lose weight but still have breast milk supply...any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you eating when you are trying to lose? Drink lots, and eat oatmeal. I've heard that if you eat lots of oatmeal than it will increase your supply. Breastfeeding and losing weight is tricky. I attempted to lose more, but I was afraid of toxins being released into my breastmilk from stored fat. But that is if you lose weight really fast. But you are pretty much a Doctor now, so you know all this! But my game plan now is to just eat healthy, breastfeed my lil nugget, exercise and eventually I'll get back to my pre-marriage weight.

I would just eat healthier?? You already eat really healthy. So, keep doing what you are doing. Have you been going to the gym lately? That may help, then you could eat all you want and feel better cuz of working out. I don't know. Maybe that will work?

I know a few of my sis-in-law's have trouble losing weight until they stop breastfeeding and then it becomes a lot easier. Perhaps you will just have to be one that waits a bit? She is already 9 months old so hopefully she is starting to eat solid food, is she?
